Membership

Our Membership is split into 3 categories of engagement. They are:

Committee Membership
Our current committee continues to have a core group of passionate and motivated individuals from a wide range of organisations across the Midlands. But we are always interested in new voices to join and bring fresh perspectives. The time commitment tends to be a few hours per month, with peaks attached to events where you have taken a contributing role.
If you are interested in joining our committee as an active member, or in helping on one of our Event Teams please let us know. A short form is attached for you to return if you are interested in committee membership.

Ambassador Membership
As an Ambassador for the Alliance Network you may want to host Alliance Network events at your organisations’ offices, get involved in working groups to organise events, have a more direct input to the idea shaping of the network with the committee but certainly act as a positive influencer to refer new members to the network to grow our membership.

Alliance Network Member
Part of our general mailing list to get updates on events, new member organisations, social activities and joint events with other networks. Priority invitations to our events before they get advertised on social media.

We will sign you up as an Alliance Network Member to get you started, but we’d love to hear from you if are interested in getting involved in the Committee and/or Ambassador programme.

Why

Many UK and Global Employer Networks are high profile and successful

Often activity and sponsorship is much more visible in London

Many LGBT people who work in the Midlands don’t have access to the same support

Smaller organisations won’t have the resources or scale to develop networks

Work alongside Midland LGBT Employer Network but provide more specific advice and support to professional service organisations

Help drive the business case for inclusion in Midlands

Support individuals to be themselves at work and reach their full potential
